Directions, Parking, and Building Access

Street Address: 47 N. Main St., Suite 138, Akron, OH 44308

 

Building: The building is located downtown Akron on the corner of N. Main and MLK streets. It is owned by Akron Children’s Hospital, but the building number itself (47) is the only prominent sign display. You ARE in the right place!

 

Parking: Parking is free in the surface lot adjacent to the building. You access the lot via the alley between the 47 building and its’ neighbor. Drive all the way around to the north side of the lot (facing MLK street) and park there. The exit for the lot is through the gate that opens on to N. Main St. Drive up very close and it will open automatically.

 

Entering the Building: Enter through the door on the north side of the building, near the black mailboxes. The building is locked down 24/7 and requires either a badge swipe (Akron Children’s staff only) or a keycode. The clinical director will provide you with the code.

Make sure you are using the keypad labeled “APWI”. It is the one on the bottom. It will appear as all black, but if you tap it, it will activate, and you can then type the code in. Pull the door to open (handle will not turn).

 

Our Office: Once inside, turn right. Suite 138 is down the hall. There is no receptionist, so please have a seat in the waiting area and your provider will be with you shortly.
