Updated: May 28

I know what you might be thinking seeing us launch a blog: That's nice, but amidst all of the social media, news sites, email listservs, apps, and podcasts out there, who really needs another?

This forum is for anyone training or providing clinical care in medicine. Anyone who feels alone in the day-to-day grind that has not lived up to their hopeful expectations. Anyone who is looking for validation that they are not a failure for finding clinical work or training difficult. Anyone who is feeling the impact of their career on their personal wellbeing but is unsure of how to lessen the blow.

We hope that by sharing our perspectives, folks will find parts of themselves reflected here. We hope that these articles will provoke reflection, stimulate conversation, and encourage self-exploration. While they are not medical or psychological advice, and certainly not a substitute for coming to individual therapy, what you read here may provide fuel for your next therapeutic encounter, your next journal club discussion, or your next conversation with your spouse or partner.

We promise that all of our content is written by one of our own providers or affiliates - it is never AI generated. All articles are reviewed for medical and psychological accuracy. They will address topics of relevance to physicians, APPs, residents, and fellows practicing medicine or nursing in today's healthcare climate.

If something speaks to you, please feel free to share it with others.

Come back often - new articles will be posted regularly!

In solidarity and sincerity,

Christina
